The Landrum Family

The Landrum Family

Drew and Sarah have been married since 2013. When they were dating, the topic of adopting very naturally came up and both agreed that they would be willing should God present an opportunity. Sarah did mission work at an orphanage in the Philippines and that is where her heart bonded with the children there. Beginning with Summit (7) in 2015, The Landrums now have three boys (Sheppard (3) and Forrest (5)) and their house is a very "lively" place. All three of their sons are extremely excited about their adopted sibling and talk about things as if their sibling is already there.

Sarah is an Executive Pastor at Stevens Creek Church and Drew is the VP of Client Success at SecureGive, a church technology company.

The Mayyou Family

Brandon, Rachel, and their four children; Mckenna, Tucker, Tessa, and Willa live in Edgefield, S.C.. They attend Edgefield First Baptist Church. They are a military family and have lived in the area for two years. They met in high school and were married in 2006. Brandon has been in the Army for 18 years, and will retire from the Army in 2024. Rachel educates their children at home, and is a co-leader of the Edgefield area homeschool co-op. Rachel has had a heart for adoption since she was a young child. She always asked Brandon to have an open mind and heart for adoption, because one day she would like to grow their family through adoption. In 2021, God developed a deep desire for them to begin stepping out in faith and pursuing adoption. Their daughters are so excited to have a new addition to the family, and to be able to help Mom feed the baby. Their son hopes to not be the only boy anymore. The Mayyou family is so excited to see what God has in store for them in their adoption journey, and they feel so blessed to have the opportunity walk with you in your journeys as well. They feel that Trot-to-Adopt is just one more way God is showing his faithfulness in their adoption story.
