Wade and Holly, along with their 10-year-old daughter, Emma Grace, have called Athens, GA their home for the last 10 years. Wade is an IT Manager at the University of Georgia and Holly is the Curriculum Director for the preschool ministry at Athens Church. They have been active members of Athens Church since they first moved to Athens and they are incredibly thankful for the way their church community has encouraged and supported their adoption journey. The Fields family went through a particularly difficult season when Wade was diagnosed with cancer seven years ago, but they are incredibly grateful that God walked through that season with them and He has brought healing in numerous ways since then. Emma Grace is very excited to finally be a big sister and Wade and Holly are thrilled to see what God has in store as they grow their family through adoption.

The Little Family

The Little Family

We are the Little family and we are excited to grow our family through adoption. High school sweethearts, Brian and Gretchen married after graduating from college and now have six children, ages 8-18. Brian works in the textile industry and Gretchen educates their children at home.

For many years we have felt the desire to open our home to a child in need. During December 2019-January 2020 we were able to host a little boy from Ukraine through an orphan hosting program. He is an affectionate, funny, and curious boy. He loves to play ping-pong, bake cookies, play soccer, pet our dog, and build with Legos and blocks. He made us laugh frequently with his silly antics. We discovered that he fit right in with our family. We all fell in love. Over the past year we have been able to stay in touch. Since that time, he has become available for international adoption and we felt the Lord directing us towards opening our home to him permanently. When asked if he would like to be a part of our family, he said yes! We look forward to bringing our sweet boy home! We know that through adoption the trajectory of his life will radically change. He will move from an institution to a family. He will experience what it is to be wanted and loved. We hope to convey to him not only that we love him, but that Jesus loves him. We look forward to the blessing of another child.
